He most recently served as Head of Engineering at Venmo, where he led the core payments platform to $250B+ in annual transaction volume across 65M+ monthly active users. He brings over 26 years of experience building and scaling technology platforms at some of the world’s most recognized companies, including Venmo, PayPal, eBay, Visa, and Kaiser Permanente.
Before his role at Venmo, he served as Interim CTO of PayPal Giving Platform, where he architected systems processing $19.6B in annual donation volume across 40+ markets and 56M+ active donors.
He also led eBay’s Applied ML team building NLP models at scale, self-initiated eBay’s internal Machine Learning Special Interest Group, and deployed production AI systems at Venmo and PayPal for personalization and intelligent recommendations.
